I'm tuned into Disco right now, and there are wings on the program I'm watching.

They are being repo'd, but at least there are wings.

You have no idea how many hours I spent watching Wings. No idea. I think I had every episode on VHS for a while. They changed narrators at some point. Early episodes had a quieter delivery and there would be long sections with no voice over. Just airplane sounds.

You want to go old school Discovery Channel? How about some Beyond 2000? These are the folks who make Mythbusters now.

I, too, still have many hours of Wings on VHS. They had the Wings marathon once a year, and I set my alarm to get up and change tapes. That was a great show. They still exist, sort of. They took much of the footage and re-edited it with that former Air Force guy, but they added all these terrible transitions and flashing scenes and corny interviews. "Great Planes" I think they called it. Terrible show. I also enjoyed Wings of the Luftwaffe and Wings of the Red Star, with Peter Ustinov narrating. I really miss it. I wonder if they have released any of it on DVD? Hmmmm.
